Problem / Solution
Most vending machines are not designed for premium products, professional product presentation, or two-way customer interaction.
Conventional vending systems typically rely on dropping, pushing, sliding, or friction-based delivery methods. These mechanisms can increase the risk of product damage, limit product visibility, and reduce the perceived value of delicate or high-value goods.
In many cases, product delivery also occurs at a low or non-ergonomic access point, weakening the customer experience in terms of visibility, reach, and presentation.
In addition, most conventional vending machines are one-way systems and do not support controlled product intake from the customer for returns, exchanges, or service-related scenarios.
Showcase = Product Display, Delivery & Return
Mechavend introduces a robotic vending architecture based on coordinated gantry mechanisms in a three-dimensional configuration with dedicated showcases.
Instead of dropping products or transferring them to a lower or side delivery compartment, products are displayed in standardized packaging or on standardized pedestals and delivered directly through the showcase in the same displayed form.
This structure combines product presentation, automated delivery, and controlled product return/intake in a single interaction point. After each sale, the system can automatically reload the showcase, creating a safer, more visible, and more premium experience for high-value products.
Why Mechavend Platform?
Museum-Grade Display
Premium showcase presentation designed for high-value products and brand experiences.
Showcase-Based Delivery
The product is displayed and delivered through the same showcase point.
Fast Door-Only Access
At the moment of delivery, the product is already in position; only the automatic glass door needs to open.
Controlled Product Intake
Supports controlled product intake from the user for return, exchange, or future buy-back scenarios.
Automatic Showcase Reloading
After each sale, the showcase can be automatically refilled by the robotic picker from the internal addressable rack.
Modular & Scalable Platform
Designed as a scalable system for different product categories, varying capacities, and diverse branding environments.
Built for Categories Beyond Conventional Vending Machines
IP Status
The main machine and core mechanisms of Mechavend are the subject of a published international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) framework.
This published PCT application supports Mechavend’s patent-pending status and provides a formal basis for future national and regional patent-phase decisions.
Further technical developments of the system are also being prepared for additional intellectual property protection.
Detailed publication information can be provided upon request for technical review, due diligence, or partnership discussions.
Founder
Pedram Dolatifard is the designer and founder of Mechavend. Mechavend is a mechatronic platform for automated product vending, designed and built to redefine the experience of product display, delivery, and return in automated retail, and it continues to evolve through ongoing development.
Partnership & Licensing
Pilot-to-License Pathway
Start with a controlled pilot deployment to validate technical performance, user experience, and commercial potential. After validation, the cooperation can move toward a licensing structure or long-term partnership.
Regional Licensing Discussions
Mechavend is open to discussions with regional operators, distributors, and strategic partners for selected target markets. The goal is to build a staged path for deployment, operation, and market development.
Flexible Commercial Models
Partners do not necessarily need to purchase the full machine upfront. Mechavend can be offered through rental, pilot deployment, revenue-sharing, or product-capacity-based commercial terms.
Technology & Know-How Access
Potential partnerships may include access to Mechavend’s robotic vending architecture, showcase-based delivery concept, proprietary know-how, and, where required, implementation support.
Partnership Discussion Basis
Partnership and licensing discussions are based on the functional MVP, proprietary know-how, and the published PCT application. These provide a documented basis for technical review, commercial evaluation, and future cooperation.
Let’s build the future of premium retail — together.
We are actively seeking regional licensing partners, operating partners, and strategic collaborators to bring Mechavend to selected markets.
